Does Yamaha still monitor this site?
Just wondering. I'm upgrading to Windows 7 this week.

Hardly!!
Yamaha doesn't give a s**t about it's customers once they've got the cash for the gear!!!
Kurzweil PC3, Motif ES6 + mLAN16E, S30, i88x, Fusion 6HD, E-mu ESynth Ultra, E-mu Proteus 2000.

Bummer. I tried snato's workaround. Can't make it work. Plus I'm not crazy about the idea of leaving my OS in test mode permanently even if I could get it to work.
Well, I'm moving on. I shouldn't have to spend four hours getting this to work. I'll just find a better company and sound card.

Re: Does Yamaha still monitor this site?
A month ago I sent an email to Yamaha, bringing the matter of drivers for mLan equipment compatible with W7/Vista 64 to their attention.
They forwarded the email to the product manager in the Benelux, yet all I received in response was the continued policy of silence.
It seems Yamaha aims to set new standards in rudeness to their customers.

Re: Does Yamaha still monitor this site?
I would suggest that you give them a buzz at 1-714-522-9000 and get a tech. They have been very helpful to "me" over the years. As to Yamaha and the "money grab", I don't see them nearly as bad as some others. Some others stop support on gear once they move to the next generation or the next level. I've gotten support for all of my Yamaha gear, even my DX7. It is a business so we shouldn't judge too harshly. just a thought....
